POWERFUL: POWER OF 3 campaign caters for worldwide attention

All good things come in threes: for the third year in a row, the global POWER OF 3 initiative, initiated by CWC, will take place in March. The entire third month of the year will focus on walnuts high content of omega-3 and the health benefits associated with it. 

In a digital cooking show during the worldwide kick-off on 3/3, chefs and influencers from around the world will demonstrate the excellent suitability of California walnuts as a versatile ingredient with clear focus on plant-based nutrition. The recipe videos will be aired on all California Walnut Commission channels - in Germany at www.walnuss.de. On this site, consumers can recreate the exotic recipes and learn how other countries utilize California walnuts in their culture.

The success of previous years shows that the global initiative significantly helps to increase awareness of and demand for California walnuts.

The simultaneous global kick-off on 3/3 and the activities in all participating markets encourage consumers during the month-long campaign to consume a handful of California walnuts daily and to incorporate them into their recipes.

In addition to all global activities, the POWER OF 3 messages will be accompanied by diverse on- and offline campaigns tailored to the German market. During the campaign, online advertising on Facebook, Google, and YouTube, along with media outreach and collaboration, will ensure a high campaign reach. Engaging campaign messaging and design will draw consumer interest and create engagement. Large-scale promotions on e-commerce portals and in shopping apps provide direct purchase incentives.
